Great Idea and easy to do. March 19, 2010 Joseph Miller (Davisburg, MI) 4 out of 6 found this review helpful
Still waiting for it to sprout and contacted customer service. What a great company to deal with. So eager to please and make a customer happy. I was actually taken back by how great the CS is here. They answered my questions and offered a perfect resolution. I will update with pics once I get some action in the can :) Along with the instructions to how easy it is once it sprouts :)
Guess what we have 4 plants growing in the can!!!! Pics later
Thank you!!!
Host chilie grow kit May 24, 2010 Carlos R. Sanchez (San Antonio, TX) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
My 10 year old son saw the cooking channel and they used a ghost chilie which is to be the hottest pepper in the world. I tried finding it in several grocery chains in San Antonio to no avail. I then found this kit available for sale on Amazon and ordered it right away. It arrived within days and made for a great gift. He has followed the easy instructions and it has begun to grow. We are so delighted to see it's progress and I'm am happy it was availabe to purchase as it also helps to spark the interist of a child. Better this than anything video game related. Hery happy about this product.
fairly simple great plant July 21, 2010 ace i got the can in january...it took afew weeks too sprout, hwever the plant grew very strong and hearty, since january my dog has bitten it and even uprooted it...but with a little tlc, it quickly revived....it is now 3ft tall and 3ft across
Ghost chile in a can July 7, 2010 Steve (Florida Gulf Coast) Plant arrived very quickly. However I was expecting a plant, not seeds in a can. and got no instructions with it . I assumed you pull the pop top [or bottom], put the plastic cap over it and water. Anyway it worked. Seeds sprouted in a week, . Weather has been warm, with lotsa rain in SW Florida which is maybe why mine grows and others don't.
I emailed the company but have not heard how to transplant a metal can of vermiculite . When big enough I will pull all but one sprout, wait for peppers to ripen, and gather seeds for the next one to plant in soil.
I have to admit is is a novel idea
